Activating against a Worker deployed before #2 returned a token with no machine; the client rejected it as another computer's ("this licence was activated on another computer") but the Polar activation stayed, so each try used one of the key's machines.

Activate now deactivates that activation and says the licence server is out of date.

A Worker that predates machine binding issues tokens without a machine, which the client rejects as another computer's. Activate now deactivates that activation, so it doesn't use up one of the key's machines, and says the server is out of date.
