golangci-lint v2 (.golangci.yml, the same as keybars Pro): the standard linters plus errorlint, gocritic, revive, misspell (UK), modernize, intrange and others, with gofumpt and goimports. CI runs it in place of the gofmt check.

Fixed: unchecked errors (tests now fail on them instead of ignoring them), doc comments on exported names, a range loop. No behaviour change; go test ./... passes.
